S-11 was one of Sierra Flight's unmanned launch facilities: a small, hardened missile site whose surface footprint was deliberately plain, but whose Cold War role was tied to the crewed S-01 Missile Alert Facility and Launch Control Center. Public records place Launch Facility S-11 in Goshen County, Wyoming, near Yoder. A public Peacekeeper field photo listing identifies the site as Francis E. Warren AF Missile Site S-11, PIN 9235, ILC GHZS, with a DMS coordinate of 41-55-22, 104-22-59.

S-11 belonged to F.E. Warren Air Force Base's Minuteman missile field, first under the 90th Strategic Missile Wing in the SAC era and later under the 90th Missile Wing. Its Peacekeeper-era squadron was the 400th Missile Squadron. The parent control site for Sierra Flight was S-01 Missile Alert Facility / Launch Control Center. S-11 is no longer an active missile facility. The Peacekeeper mission at F.E. Warren ended on 2005-09-19, and the former Peacekeeper launch facilities were later included in New START-era silo-elimination planning.

S-11 occupied open rural land in Goshen County, Wyoming, in the Yoder area. No public access was confirmed.

S-11 was a launch facility, not a crewed command post. Missile crews served at S-01, while maintenance, communications, and security teams visited S-11 as needed. Public exterior photos from 2013 provide general views of the former launch facility area,

S-11 began as a Minuteman launch facility in the F.E. Warren missile field and later passed through the Minuteman III-to-Peacekeeper conversion that affected 50 former Minuteman silos assigned to the Peacekeeper force. Official Air Force history states that the Peacekeeper became operational at F.E. Warren in 1986, that 50 missiles were in service there by 1988, and that the missiles were placed in hardened underground silos previously used by Minuteman ICBMs.

S-11 is a decommissioned former Minuteman / Peacekeeper launch facility. The missile is gone, and the site was part of the broader New START disposal framework for former Peacekeeper launch facilities at F.E. Warren. Parcel-level current ownership and reuse were not verified. The site should be treated as private or restricted property unless current land records or posted access information show otherwise.
