Radar Sites in the United States

Air-defense stations and their small gap-filler annexes formed a broad warning network. Other radar sites tracked missiles, spacecraft or test vehicles. Browse the installation list by state. ^{[2] [3] [13]}

Alaska and the Aleutians

Alaska's aircraft-control-and-warning stations, Arctic DEW Line sites and later long-range radars served overlapping generations of northern defense. Clear and Shemya also housed strategic warning sensors. ^{[4] [5] [11]}

Overseas U.S. Radar Sites

U.S. radar and range-sensor work extended beyond the states. These entries include former U.S. Pinetree Line stations in Canada, strategic sensors in Greenland, the former Pirinclik radar in Turkey and radar installations at Kwajalein.
